Steve Milsom

Steve is a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years of expertise in the construction industry. Throughout his career, Steve has successfully managed a diverse range of new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors, including educational, commercial, residential, pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial, defence and utilities.

Steve offers comprehensive pre- and post-contract services related to building works and mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations. His extensive experience in these areas ensures that innovative ideas and new skills are consistently brought to the table, benefiting all clients.

Steve's career journey began at Capita Symonds, where he spent 17 years, starting as a trainee and steadily progressing his career through to overseeing both the Bristol and Cardiff Cost Management teams. His time at Capita Symonds provided him with a solid foundation in quantity surveying working on a range of projects, notable projects including the Finzels Reach development in the centre of Bristol and the National Composites Centre for the University of Bristol at the Bristol & Bath Science Park. Following this, Steve moved to Fulkers Bailey Russell, where he spent 8 years growing the Bristol office alongside Phillip North.

Steve is known for his hands on leadership and collaborative approach, which fosters effective communication and alignment of objectives among project stakeholders. This approach not only adds significant value to every project but also helps in developing long-term client relationships.

Over the years, Steve has delivered several high-profile projects as part of masterplans for esteemed clients such as the University of Bath, Bath Spa University, Dyson, Airbus and Vectura.

His portfolio also includes healthcare projects for the NHS, including work for the Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust and the Wiltshire Integrated Care Board.
