Cheltenham Racecourse for The Jockey Club

The redevelopment of Cheltenham Racecourse which included a new 6,000 capacity Princess Royal Stand with an external crescent walkway that creates a dynamic amphitheatre with dramatic viewing of the parade ring and winner’s rostrum. The project also included numerous other sections of work such as a new bar/restaurant, a refurbished bar, extensive hard and soft landscaping, a new betting shop, and two newly constructed terraces.

The project involved asbestos removal and demolition of existing buildings to create space for the new development, The project won Project of the Year and the Tourism and Leisure category at the RICS Awards South West 2016.
