Adam is one of the co-founders of emesen, established at the start of 2025 alongside Steve and Phillip. He has been a prominent figure in the construction industry since 2008, working on a wide range of projects primarily in Bristol and the South West.
Before entering the construction field, Adam earned a Law degree in 2006, followed by a Post-Graduate Diploma in Property Management from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He is now a fully qualified RICS Chartered Project Manager Surveyor.
Adam began his career as a Graduate Project Manager at the global consultancy EC Harris, where he spent eight successful years. Notable projects included the redevelopment of Cheltenham Racecourse and the new Admiral Insurance HQ in Cardiff. His achievements earned him a shortlist for the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year.
Following his tenure at EC Harris, Adam joined JLL for four years. During this period, he managed the refurbishment and extension of Cheltenham Ladies' College Health and Fitness suite, the refurbishment of Legal & General's Hodge House in Cardiff, and numerous office fit-outs, including a 50,000 sq ft space for KPMG in Bristol. He also led the Cubex development of Halo, Millwrights Place, and Coopers Court from concept to planning permission.
Adam then spent two years at Arcadis, where he managed Packaged Living's Aubrey Place, an 18-storey building with 300 flats for rent. He also worked on several projects for the University of Bristol, including the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus Phase 2 and The Sheds.
In 2021, Adam joined Fulkers Bailey Russell as Project Manager Director in their Bristol office, aiming to expand their project management services in the region. He successfully built a team of 10 Project Managers and secured significant projects such as Plot A Silverthorne Lane, La Grande Mare golf course overhaul, and the Ashton Gate Sporting Quarter development.
